Dispute Resolution Partner/Senior Associate Location: Romsey, Hampshire An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor at Senior Associate or Partner level to join a growing commercial team in Romsey. This is a key appointment for someone who wants to play an active role in developing the firm''s litigation offering across Hampshire and the wider South Coast. You''ll have the support of an established team around you, while having the opportunity to develop your own client base and build a strong profile within the local commercial market. The opportunity You will advise a broad range of clients on commercial disputes, acting for individuals, sole traders, SMEs and larger businesses across Hampshire. The work will be varied and will include managing disputes from initial instruction through to resolution, with matters potentially involving court proceedings, negotiations and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters Assessing the legal and commercial merits of disputes and advising clients on strategy Investigating factual and legal issues and identifying appropriate courses of action Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and other court documentation Preparing for and attending hearings, including advocacy where appropriate Liaising with clients, opposing parties, witnesses, counsel, experts and the courts ..... full job details .....
