The Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Dispensing Optician to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will be confident in advising patients on lenses and frames, with a particular passion for luxury eyewear. You''ll combine technical expertise with excellent customer service, ensuring each patient receives a tailored experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame suitability based on prescriptions and lifestyle needs.

• Confidently present and dispense high-end, designer, and bespoke frames.

• Deliver a professional and personalised service that reflects our independent values.

• Adjust, repair, and fit spectacles to the highest standards.

• Support colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of the practice.

• Keep up to date with the latest eyewear trends and product knowledge.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician, registered with the GOC.

• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses and dispensing practices.

• Previous experience in an independent or luxury practice is desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Confidence in recommending and selling premium eyewear.

• Flexible and team-oriented, with availability to work every Saturday.
