Job Title - Production Operator

Location - Royston

Work pattern - Mon-Fri - 7.00 am - 3.30 pm

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Dispensing & Packing Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Dispensing & Packing Lead, you will be responsible for running and maintaining the dispensing and packing processes safely and effectively. Your goal will be to ensure all products meet our customer requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense, label, and pack orders accurately and on time, following safety (EHS) and quality (QA) guidelines.
• Receive and process customer/internal orders so they are ready for dispatch on the required date.
• Manage customer orders and stock levels, working closely with sales and operations to plan and prioritise workloads.
• Monitor packing materials, containers, and supplies, ensuring stock is maintained.
• Make sure all products meet customer specifications and delivery schedules.
• Maintain a safe and tidy workplace, following all company policies on safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Suggest and support improvements to processes and efficiency.
• Check delivery notes and invoices to ensure the right items are received.
• Work closely with colleagues and other departments to meet production targets.
• Be trained in IATA / ADR regulations.
• Support LEAN and Continuous Improvement activities to reduce waste and control costs.
• Perform any other duties within your skills when required.
