Dispatch Warehouse Operator

Our client based in the Havant area is looking to recruit an experienced disptach person ideally with a counter balance forklift licence.

Skills, Experience, and education required:

• Experience working within a dispatch environment
• Valid FLT license desirable
• Placing packing orders via Kite
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant Export Compliance desirable
• Communicate effectively with Shipping Department on queries for customer orders and resolve queries
• Daily upkeep of dispatch
• Packing
• Use of Microsoft packages

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Heavy lifting / Manual handling
• Place orders with Kite for packing boxes required
• Loading and unloading
• Shrink wrapping pallets
• Driving FLT
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team
• High level of numeracy and literacy
• Previous experience in a despatch environment
• PC literate – use of Microsoft packages – Word, Excel and Outlook

Hours

• Monday – Friday Day Shift Hours (37 hours per week)
