Dispatch Operative

Location: Taunton | -12.71 per hour

Siamo Group are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Operative to join a friendly and well-established local company based on the outskirts of Taunton. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a busy warehouse and dispatch environment, where you will play an important part in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and dispatched on time.

Working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.

The Role
As a Dispatch Operative, you will support the day-to-day running of the dispatch area, making sure goods are picked, prepared and ready for collection or delivery. You will work closely with the wider warehouse team to ensure orders are processed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders ready for dispatch.
• Checking goods and orders for accuracy before they leave the warehouse.
• Packing products securely and appropriately for transportation.
• Labelling and preparing consignments for delivery.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely when required.
• Completing relevant paperwork and dispatch documentation accurately.
• Following company procedures relating to health and safety and warehouse operations.
• Reporting any damaged, missing or incorrect goods to the relevant team member.

About You
We''re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and hardworking, with a positive attitude towards their work. Previous warehouse or dispatch experience would be beneficial.
