Disability Assessor
What does the PIP Disability role involve? The PIP Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 to 4 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person''s disability or health condition affects their daily life. You ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That''s the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don''t. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.
