We are recruiting Functional Assessors to conduct assessments for the DWP, providing objective, evidence-based reports that help inform benefit decisions. The Role Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments Review medical evidence and health questionnaires Assess the impact of physical, mental and cognitive health conditions Produce detailed reports using clinical judgement and reasoning No prescribing, treatment planning or hands-on care PIP Assessor: Approx. 3 reports per day WCA Assessor: Approx. 5-6 reports per day Salary and Benefits PIP: £45,000 rising to £47,000 after 12 months WCA: £48,000 rising to £49,000 after 12 months 5% training completion bonus Up to 10% annual performance bonus Hybrid working 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Buy up to 5 additional holiday days Pension scheme Fully paid 12-week training programme Ongoing CPD and career progression Employee wellbeing support and discounts Requirements NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience Strong communication, assessment and report-writing skills Good IT skills Please note: Sponsorship is not available.
