Director, Sustainability Risk and Traceability: Ready to take the helm of a progressive role that shapes the future of sustainability and supplier risk management. The role offers the opportunity to lead innovative approaches that integrate environmental, social, and governance factors into comprehensive risk assessments.Responsibilities

Drives the inclusion of sustainability (environmental, social, governance) factors into the overall category-risk assessment and management process focused on the most material/salient risksDirects strategies to assess the supplier impact of new and existing sustainability regulatory and stakeholder expectations and integrates these into the supplier-facing systems, ensuring continuous improvement to minimize risk to the brandCollaborates with key stakeholders to develop risk mitigation and management strategies to support the company sustainability agenda (e.g., water and nature risk)Develops and implements an approach to supply chain / raw materials traceability and chain of custody by connecting to existing enterprise and supply chain risk management frameworksSupports digital enablement of tools and processes to gain upstream visibility to meet regulatory compliance, sustainability claims and disclosuresWorks cross-functionally to prepare external sustainability reporting with accurate traceability and supply chain risk dataEnsures identified sustainability risks are analyzed and communicated to the procurement teams and leadership through established governance processes and regular reportingFacilitates cross-category business continuity planning for sustainability risksCoordinates, participates in and, as required, drives sustainability risk assessment, management and governance processes development to enable a compliant and resilient supplier baseLeads and develops a team of direct reports to advance and operate the supply chain risk assessment and traceability system in order to minimize supply chain, regulatory and brand riskQualifications

Education within BSc/BA, MSc/MBA in Sustainability, Business or related field preferredOver a decade of experience in sustainability, supply chain, sourcing and/or risk management in a multinational organizationKnowledge of enterprise risk management, supply chain risk management, responsible supply chain monitoring tools and industry best practicesExperience building, directing, and managing large projectsLeadership in cross-functional environments and centralized service delivery modelsExperience addressing tactical business problems with strategic solutionsExperience with building traceability systems is preferredProven ability to build, coach, and lead high-performing teams in matrixed or global environmentsAbility to enable change across the organization and to communicate technical concepts in business terms to diverse audiences, including executive/senior managementAbility to manage multiple priorities, problem-solve under pressure, and support leadership with strategic decision-makingStrong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsWhat’s in it for you
