Director of Refits and Strategic Projects

to join their UK Maritime division. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the future of a prestigious fleet through strategic asset management and complex project delivery.The RoleAs Director, you''ll be accountable for planning, executing and delivering comprehensive refit programmes and strategic projects across a world-class cruise fleet. You''ll manage multi-million pound budgets while ensuring vessels remain fully compliant with international maritime regulations and exceed guest expectations.Key Responsibilities:Lead the rolling refit planning programme across multiple premium cruise brandsManage strategic dry dock locations globally, ensuring optimal facilities and complianceOversee project budgets up to £100M with full financial accountabilityCollaborate with international teams across Technology, Hotel Facilities and Maritime divisionsEnsure compliance with SOLAS, IMO, Class and Flag State regulationsDirect and develop a skilled technical team including Senior Managers and SuperintendentsManage complex stakeholder relationships across onboard and shore-based teamsWhat We''re Looking ForProven experience in dry dock and maritime operational environmentsTrack record managing large-scale projects with budgets up to £100MDeep understanding of Flag State, USCG and IMO regulationsProfessional qualification in marine or technical disciplineDegree/HND/HNC in marine or technical fieldStrong commercial awareness and budget management experienceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance databasesSea time experience across marine environmentsCertificate of Competency (Marine)USPH trainingIOSH Managing Safely certificationWhat''s On OfferCompetitive salary
