Director of Shared Ownership Housing and Affordable Housing Remote / Monthly London Meetings 90,000 - 100,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Shared Ownership to join a leading organisation operating within the housing and affordable housing sector. This role will be the main point of contact between the membership code and the wider affordable housing sector (both public and private) and the face of the Shared Ownership division within the organsation Lead the strategy to support to Registered Providers (RP''s), initially during the mobilisation phase to get them registered and then longer term to help them meet the requirements of the Shared Ownership Code. Objectives: Drive registration and retention of RPs with the Code. Lead the evolution of the Code to continue raising the standards across the sector. Raise the profile of the Code and reputation of tenure. Role: Develop strong relationships with key industry stakeholders including but not limited to the National Housing Federation, Shared Ownership Council, Housing Ombudsman, etc. Represent on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Manage a small team Develop the plan to provide support and guidance to RPs and those considering registration. Work with the Comms team to deliver a robust RP value proposition and communicate improvements in the media and across the sector.
