Following a landmark decision by the City Council, the whole of adult social care is returning to council leadership - creating a unique opportunity to redesign, improve and strengthen how care and support is delivered across our city. This is one of the most significant transformation programmes currently underway in local government. Our ambition goes beyond organisational change. You will lead a portfolio that spans learning disability, older people''s services, supported living and mental health provision. You will be accountable for service delivery, quality, workforce, finance, transformation, regulatory readiness and continuous improvement. You will play a critical role in shaping culture, improving performance and ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
