You will be responsible forDriving forward the Council''s corporate Property and Asset StrategyLeading on politically sensitive and commercially complex property issuesProviding oversight and property leadership for programmes such as Affordable Homes for NewhamWorking with senior leadership and external partners (including LLDC and neighbouring boroughs) to deliver high-quality capital programmes, developments, and site assessmentsOverseeing the performance of property-related budgets across the CouncilActing as a senior professional leader and advisor across all property-related functions Key RequirementsEducated to degree level or equivalent experienceProfessional property qualification (e.g. FRICS, FCIOB, IRRV or similar)Extensive senior-level experience in public sector property managementProven ability to lead and deliver major capital programmes, regeneration schemes, and corporate asset strategiesStrong understanding of property legislation, governance, and public sector financeExperience working in politically sensitive environmentsExcellent ..... full job details .....
