Director of IT and Data

Our client, a well-established provider of housing and community services, is looking for a Director of IT and Data to join their Senior Leadership Team. This is a senior, board-facing role, reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, leading a function of between 33-35 (2 direct reports) with budget responsibility of over 2.0m. The role Set and deliver the technology, data and performance strategy across the organisation Own cyber security strategy, with regular audits and testing Set the architecture roadmap and lead change/release management across IT services Lead supplier relationships and negotiations for hardware and software Ensure compliance with IT and data protection legislation Deliver a company-wide data strategy, covering governance and data quality Lead the Business Intelligence function and support adoption of the UK Housing Data Standard Develop a performance management framework, including KPI tracking Build a business intelligence and analysis framework to support strategy and forecasting Drive continuous improvement methodology (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) to improve productivity and cut costs Coach and develop your team, building a culture of accountability and trust Present to the Board and relevant committees on performance and major projects What you''ll need Experience leading high-performing teams and managing IT, Data and Performance functions Previous Director-level experience in a similar role Degree level education, or equivalent experience ..... full job details .....
