Director of Income Generation and Communications

We are seeking a motivated and talented individual with senior experience to lead on our strategy for income generation and communications. We have ambitious plans to grow our fundraising and retail activities to help Mountbatten continue to be there for the over 4,500 people who need our care and support every single day of the year. Mountbatten hospice group is a leading provider of palliative and end-of-life care in the UK, supporting over 4,500 individuals at any one time, delivering a wide range of innovative and award winning 24/7 services, across parts of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. We exist to promote and to provide good care and support for those people living with, affected by, or curious about death, dying and bereavement. We are the largest organisation of our kind in the region, with a budget of over £20m and serving a population of over 700,000; and with a 200% growth in the number of people we are supporting in the last four years. Fundraising, alongside retail and commercial income covers around two thirds of our annual running costs, with the remainder coming from NHS and other commissioned services.
