About us: Are you passionate about financial capability? Join us to develop knowledge, resources and tools that are accessible to all! At The London Foundation for Banking and Finance (LFBF), our story began in 1879 when a group of visionary bank workers set out to elevate professional standards and leadership in the industry. Over the years, we became a recognised leader in financial services education, offering industry-leading qualifications and setting the gold standard for professional competency. In 2023 we entered an exciting new chapter as an independent charity, revitalising and refocusing our mission to improve financial capability and empower professionals in the sector. In 2025 we published a new external strategy with our social impact metrics which will lead to our 150 year anniversary in 2029. We are now seeking a passionate leader in the Financial Capability field to join our senior management team and work alongside our Chief Executive to continue to drive our transformation forward. Our charitable objective is the advancement of knowledge and education in financial services, and to carry out research and publish useful results for the benefit of the public. In doing so, we seek to improve levels of financial literacy and skills, as well as support those working within or considering a career in the financial services industry.
