Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  • Oversee the maintenance and security of all facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Lead and manage a team of facilities staff, providing guidance and support to achieve operational objectives.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency and value for money in all facilities-related operations.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of facilities operations and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure sustainability initiatives are integrated into facilities management practices.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on facilities-related matters.

Profile

A successful Director of Facilities should have:
