Director of Development

Suffolk Community Foundation Suffolk Community Foundation is seeking an outstanding Director of Development to lead our strategic income generation at a pivotal moment for the county. This senior leadership role will shape the Foundation''s long term financial sustainability and strengthen our ability to support communities across Suffolk. About the Role As Director of Development, you will drive fundraising across a diverse and high impact portfolio. This includes corporate giving, community benefit funds linked to National Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), health sector partnerships, local council relationships and applications to national charitable trusts. You will lead and inspire our Philanthropy Team, supporting their work with private donors, family funds and legacy giving. Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will help promote the Foundation to new partners, raise our profile and unlock significant investment into Suffolk''s communities. A key part of the role is to work closely with the Chief Executive to promote the Foundation and strengthen Suffolk Community Foundation''s profile and secure new opportunities for charitable giving. What You Will Lead Corporate giving - building strong, values aligned partnerships with Suffolk businesses. National Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) funding - securing community benefit investment from major infrastructure projects.
