Director of Development

Our client is a charity that uses the power of theatre to create inspiring experiences and unlock possibilities for young people. Too many young people and their families experience physical, emotional, social and financial barriers to experiencing theatre. The organisation is here to change that. The team will recruit their new Director of Development and Prospectus is leading the search. Director of Development £65,000-£70,000 Permanent Hybrid from home and Victoria, London office The Director of Development is a senior-level appointment for our client to grow income and work with the CEO and Board to unlock new opportunities for the organisation. The Director of Development will predominantly be responsible for income generation, with the organisation raising c. £900k currently. The Director of Development will work with individuals, trusts and foundations, and other funding sources to inspire and craft compelling ways to support programmes that unlock creativity and possibility for young people. Reporting to the CEO, this role will act as a senior ambassador internally as well as externally, particularly around matters of finance, governance, as well as income generation. The new Director of Development will have the opportunity to write and implement a fundraising strategy of the three-year strategic plan too.
