Director of Data Engineering

This UK-based Insurance start-up are searching for a new Head of Data Engineering, you will take command of their Data function. You will be responsible for managing the team and helping the team to develop the Data strategy.This UK company specialises in the commercial insurance space- they specialise in working on large insurance deals. They have recently received large funding and are developing their data function to deal with the increase in clients.You will be joining a new and exciting Data Team. In this role, you will manage the whole data strategy across the business, and be involved in strategic business conversations.Planning and reporting findings from the team.Building and maintaining an Azure-based platform.Experience running a multiskilled team.Strong coding experience using Python.Commercial experience owning the Data strategy and Platform at a large company.Generous holiday package.
