Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Cost Consultant looking for the opportunity to build something of your own within an established and highly reputable consultancy?

Do you have the commercial and business development skills to develop new client relationships, win work and establish a successful QS function?

Are you motivated by the opportunity to grow a team, shape a service line and progress towards Senior Director?

This is a senior, permanent role with a high-end real estate consultancy that''s continuing to expand, where you''ll be trusted to shape the QS offering and make a genuine impact. You''ll be backed with funded training and a hybrid setup built around getting the job done, not clock-watching.

The business is continuing to expand while maintaining its strong culture, client relationships and employee retention. You will play a key role in establishing and leading the Quantity Surveying function in Leeds, with significant autonomy to shape its growth.

The role would suit an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working with clients, developing business and wants the opportunity to build a team beneath them.

The successful candidate will have support from experienced Directors across the wider business, with training and professional development funded where required.

The Role:

• Establish and lead the Quantity Surveying function in Leeds
• Develop new and existing client relationships through business development
• Work closely with Senior Directors to identify and secure new opportunities
• Coordinate BD, marketing, resourcing and knowledge sharing across the business
• Champion the QS service line and drive best practice and quality control
• Develop service line strategies, SMART objectives and business plans
• Identify opportunities for operational and process improvements
• Support the development and mentoring of colleagues
• Build a strong community of practice across the wider business
• Contribute to the continued growth of the Leeds office

The Person:

• MRICS or FRICS qualified
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Consultancy background
• Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
• Proven business development ability
• Ambitious, driven and motivated to build something from the ground up
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
