Director of Children's Integrated Services

My client in the midlands is looking to appoint a talented Director of Children''s Integrated Services on a Contract basis.

The role create and drive the vision for the Council''s Children''s Integrated Services, providing strategic leadership and robust decision making.

About the role:

Based in the midlands (hybrid):

• Provide strategic leadership, direction and management to Children''s Integrated Services, including Children''s Social Care, Children in Care and Regulatory Services.
• Act as a principal advisor to the Council on strategy, policy options and the forward planning of objectives
• Lead the delivery of innovative Children and Young People''s services, aligned to clear objectives that are supported by key decision-making, governance and performance management arrangements to deliver our priorities
• Actively work to break down silos by working across boundaries to deliver benefits

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Extensive experience in a similar role, specifically in a Local Authority context.
• Evidence of financial and commercial awareness with strong analytical skills and a creative approach to problem solving.
• A successful track-record of creating compelling visions and successfully translating clear goals and objectives to deliver outcomes that make a positive difference.
• Evidence of successfully leading and motivating people and cultivating a culture that creates high performing people and services

What''s on offer:

• Salary: -800+ per day, inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience
