Director of Building Surveying

Conrad Consulting is recruiting for a Director of Building Surveying to join a well-established and highly regarded property consultancy in Glasgow. Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Building Surveyor to take a leading role in the continued growth and development of their Building Surveying offering across Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to develop client relationships, generate new business and lead a successful team. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to shape the direction of the Building Surveying service, working closely with the wider senior leadership team to drive business growth and deliver high-quality consultancy services. Responsibilities of the Director of Building Surveying: Lead and develop the Building Surveying team, providing technical guidance, mentoring and support. Drive business development activities, identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships. Oversee the delivery of Building Surveying services across a diverse portfolio of commercial property and construction projects. Take responsibility for fee generation, financial performance and the continued growth of the department. Provide strategic advice to clients on technical due diligence, dilapidations, contract administration and refurbishment projects.
