Director of Bereavement Support and Community and Volunteering

Sands are now seeking a compassionate and strategic leader to join their Senior Leadership Group as Director of Bereavement Support and Community and Volunteering. This role leads two areas at the heart of who Sands are - ensuring their support services remain inclusive, high-quality and evidence-based, while strengthening and expanding their community and volunteering offer. We are looking for candidates who can: Provide inclusive, human-centred leadership Ensure bereavement support runs as a "golden thread" throughout all their work Grow and develop their community and volunteering programme Act as a visible and credible ambassador for Sands Sands are looking for someone with strategic insight, emotional intelligence and a deep commitment to supporting bereaved families - a leader who can guide teams with clarity, compassion and innovation.
