The team has specialists in many different sectors.We assist our clients by managing and advising on projects as part of multidisciplinary and multijurisdictional teams and provide specialist indirect tax advice on a variety of complex issues and we are shameless in our desire to pioneer and our drive to seek out new opportunities.We are looking for an Indirect Tax Directors to join our team. All high quality candidates will be considered but we would particularly welcome those with direct experience of Consumer Markets or Process, Controls and Technology.Responsibilities:Be market facing, drive sales on allocated clients and target organisationsHold and control high level conversations with senior stakeholders in the markets and be capable of introducing relevant specialists from across the firmLead by example with client relationships, technical quality, service delivery and commerciallyActively promote team and personal profile to internal networks in order to promote collaboration and increase internal leadsTake lead on design and delivery of proposals for new business opportunitiesPlay a key role in people development activities (coaching / mentoring) for less experienced team membersIdentify key client issues that represent opportunities for other KPMG teams to capitalise on and play active role in introductions.The Individual:Successful track record of new business origination within Indirect Tax projects through both internal and external activitiesExcellent commerciallyDisplay technical strengthSustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude that translates across the teamInspirational leaderDisplays an inclusive, collaborative approach and operates in an inspirational and respectful manner with colleagues, clients and the wider communityBrings insight and effectively applies knowledge to business and client problemsCommunicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clearBuilds the reputation of KMPG through the quality of work, knowledge and experienceQualified CTA or equivalentStrong interpersonal skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skillsJoin KPMG today!Proud to be an inclusive, equal opportunity employer, we seek to attract and retain the best people from the widest possible talent pool.
