Director, Full-Stack Engineer

We''re seeking a future team member for the role of Director - Full Stack Developer to join our Loans enablement Platform engineering team. This role is located in London or Manchester. In this role, you''ll make an impact in the following ways: Lead architecture design and review across multiple pods, ensuring best practices and high-quality solutions. Mentor junior developers on software design, clean code, use of AI coding assistants, programming practices, and career development. Develop rapid, working prototype code to serve as a reference for engineering teams. Directly participate in building, testing, and deploying engineering solutions. Applicants should have a recent track record of hands-on technical leadership and execution within engineering teams. Influence and guide non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, resiliency, and recoverability. Promote modern development practices such as reactive/non-blocking programming and contract-first API design. Present architecture designs to stakeholders at various levels. Promote successful adoption of AI Software Development tooling.
