: Support rejuvenation and relaxation at J Wellness Circle Spa, offering a blend of traditional Indian therapies and Mediterranean-inspired treatments.Role Description:Director of Front Office role:This role will manage the Front Office Operations of St James Court Hotel and the 329 rooms it encompasses.Manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality and standards represented in our Brand Standards are maintained.Develops specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise, and accomplish the objectives and priorities of the business.Handles complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts of guests, while developing the team to do the same.Supervises staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.Understands the impact of departments operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed goals.Adheres to all credit and finance policies and procedures and performs spot checks on the team.Liaise with Reservations Department in a high house situation and recommend actions to be taken.Check on closed-out dates to ensure efforts are made to achieve 100% occupancy with the highest yield possible.Coordinate and monitor major group movements for meetings and conferences, and ensure that action plans cover all areas of operations handling.Handle all guest correspondences and ensure prompt follow-ups.Manage daily room inventory and coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure requested rooms are cleaned according to arrival times.Analyse market trend, review rooming list and motivate Front Office employees to up-sell rooms with the view of achieving higher yield and increasing revenue.Makes courtesy calls to VIPS, long stay and corporate guest to obtain feedback and pro-act to handle any lapses in service standards.Front Office Manager requirements:Minimum 2 years experience of similar size operation within a 4/5-star London hotel.Experience in large volume of guest movements.High level of Opera proficiencyExperience of managing and developing peopleExcellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skillsAccountable and resilientCommitment to delivering a high level of customer service.Ability to work under pressure.Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations/patterns including weekends.What awaits you at Taj?
