Dimensional Calibration Engineer

Dimensional Calibration Engineer is required for a permanent position in the Chorley / Preston area. Excellent salary (DoE) + benefits see below. Working circa 40 hours (Mon Fri days), the Dimensional Calibration Engineer will predominately be calibrating dimensional, mechanical and hand measuring instruments to traceable and UKAS standards. The client will also consider a UKAS Signatory, Calibration Team Leader, Snr Calibration Technician, Standards Room Inspector, Head of Laboratory etc. with extensive dimensional / mechanical calibration experience. Salary and Benefits: Excellent salary (DoE) Approx 40 hours/week 22 days holiday plus bank hols. Company Pension Occasional O/T Primary Purpose of Job: Joining the team as a Dimensional Calibration Engineer, you will undertake calibration of measuring equipment to both ISO9001 and ISO 17025 requirements in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS publications, and other internationally recognised specifications. Maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilising calibration management software programs.
