Digital Print Supervisor | Essex | Full Time | Circa £31,000-£35,000 based on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Digital Print Supervisor to join a friendly team based in Essex (SS5 4AD).

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Digital Print Supervisor to lead their busy print production team. This is a fantastic chance to manage a small, dedicated group of printers within a fast-paced, high-quality book manufacturing environment.

Please note - Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm. A degree of flexibility is expected to support operational needs, and occasional work outside these hours may be required to meet production demands or provide team cover.

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and work collaboratively within a team
• Experienced with both inkjet and toner-based digital print systems
• A practical, hands-on approach with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Calm under pressure and capable of adapting to changing priorities
• Keen to take responsibility and pride in delivering excellent results

What will your role look like?

• Supervise and support a small team of skilled digital printers
• Schedule and manage print jobs to meet deadlines efficiently
• Maintain high standards of print quality and consistency
• Ensure best practices in machine operation, maintenance, and housekeeping
• Liaise with prepress and finishing departments to manage workflow effectively
• Troubleshoot production issues and adapt to pressure points across the business
• Contribute to continuous improvement and staff development

What can you expect in return?
