Whitefriars Surgery (The Red Practice) is seeking a friendly and organised individual to join its supportive team.The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for patients, delivering a professional, compassionate, and welcoming service in line with the practice''s CARES values, Compassion, Agility, Respect, Excellence, and Service.You will be responsible for managing appointments, triaging patient queries, and signposting to the appropriate services, while using clinical systems to maintain accurate records and support the smooth running of the practice.Alongside the role, you will work towards a qualification in Digital Applications Support, helping you to build your system knowledge and develop a long-term career while gaining a recognised qualification.Responsibilities:Act as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals via telephone, email, and in personProvide a professional, friendly, and efficient front-of-house serviceProcess appointment requests and manage the practice appointment systemTriage patient queries and signpost to the most appropriate service or clinicianDevelop into a system expert in DOCMAN, managing and processing incoming clinical correspondenceMaintain and update accurate patient records using clinical systems (e.g. EMIS/SystmOne/Vision)Accurately input and code patient data (read coding)Initiate and respond to requests from patients, colleagues, and external organisationsProcess referrals to secondary care ..... full job details .....
