Digital Marketing Executive

Location: Falkirk / hybrid (3 days minimum in office)

Salary: £28,000 - £31,000

Contract: Full time

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Experience required: 2-3 years, ideally with a content/social specialism

Crunchy Carrots, based in Falkirk, is hitting a really exciting period of growth, with an ever-expanding client base, and definitive ambitions to be the digital marketing agency of choice in Scotland for SMEs. We're not a big, faceless agency, we're a genuinely close team who work hard, laugh a lot, and take the work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. What does that mean? Well, we’re looking to add a Digital Marketing Executive to our Marketing Team, who can support our clients’ growth plans by delivering creative, on-brand marketing strategies. The Digital Marketing Executive will lead our new service ‘bitesize’, our streamlined content service for busy businesses who want consistent, professional marketing without the complexity of a full strategy partner. The second aspect of this role will be to bring that same energy home by acting as the driving force behind Crunchy Carrots' own marketing… Yes, the cobbler's kids finally get shoes. You'll make us look as good as we make our clients look.

What you'll actually be doing

Run bitesize: You'll own a portfolio of bitesize clients which includes planning content, creating it, scheduling it, and keeping every account exactly where it should be.

Make things look good: Design and video are core to this role, not a nice-to-have. You'll be creating scroll-stopping content in tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe with a real eye for what makes people stop and look.

Be the face clients trust: You'll run client check-ins and monthly updates, presenting clearly, building real relationships and being the person clients are genuinely pleased to hear from. This isn't a backroom content role; you'll be out front, representing us.

Own our own marketing You'll drive Crunchy Carrots' content day-to-day, our channels, our voice and our visibility with direction set by the Head of Marketing and the support of the whole team, we’ll get in front of the camera if we need to!

Your skills

• You've got 2-3 years under your belt, ideally with real depth in content and social.
• You're confident with the likes of Canva and CapCut and you can point to work you're proud of.
• You use AI tools to work smarter and faster but you know the difference between a starting point and a finished piece, and you never let it think for you.
• You're just as comfortable presenting a monthly update to a client as you are editing a reel the night before it needs to go live.
• You understand that "on brand" isn't just a colour palette, it's tone, timing, and knowing your audience.

We work hybrid, with a minimum of three days a week in our Falkirk office because the best ideas happen when we're actually in a room together. If five days from home is what you're after, this isn't your role, and we'd rather tell you that now than three months in.

We're a team that shares the wins, the stresses, and the "why won't this client answer their emails" moments in equal measure. You'll be trusted from day one but never left to figure it out alone.
