This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a similar role where they have gained knowledge and proven experience as a Product Manager with a strong understanding of web technologies, front end design, and Agile development methodologies.A FTSE 250 company, XPS combines expertise and insight with advanced technology and analytics to address the needs of over 1,400 pension schemes and their sponsoring employers on an ongoing and project basis. As a Digital Product Manager with XPS you will:Manage the digital vision/strategy, roadmap and product lifecycle for two key products (initially):

MyPension (a member facing pensions administration portal), andPensions Admin Manager (an employer analytics portal)

Create and maintain a clear and prioritised product roadmap, outlining features, improvements, and updates for the digital suiteCollaborate with the Head of Digital Engagement, Product Owner and other stakeholders to define product requirements, ensure timely development, and successful product launchesCo-pilot / work with the web-dev IT Product Owner to manage roadmap priorities, implement new online requirements, develop user stories, and manage product backlogChampion exceptional user experience design, ensuring intuitive navigation, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devicesAgree ''release plans'' with Product Owners (including development roll-out / communicationWork closely with the product manager for ''core dev'' to ensure the digital and core dev roadmaps and management approach is consistentWork with cross-functional stakeholders to understand, define and implement new online requirements for each productAs part of a testing group - test online requirements to ensure they meet our digital standardsManage stakeholder expectations regarding online requirements and the digital roadmap for each productDemo the product and product developments to key stakeholders (both external and internal), and work with stakeholders to identify and mitigate delivery risks.Use market research, competitor analysis and user engagement / analytics to inform the product strategies. Conduct thorough research to understand customer needs, pain points, and preferences, and use these insights to inform product enhancementsReview product success - define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, monitor performance, and use data-driven insights to make informed decisionsLine management of digital team membersYour profile

Essential CriteriaProven experience as a Product Manager, preferably with a focus on client-facing web portals and/or digital productsStrong understanding of web technologies, front end design, and Agile development methodologiesArticulate and comfortable conversing with developers, business SME\''s, senior stakeholders and clientsAbility to co-ordinate and manage product rollout for multiple clients simultaneouslyAbility to gather customer insights and translate them into successful product improvementsAbility to leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and continuously improve product performanceProactive problem solver with a creative mindset, capable of navigating challenges and finding innovative solutionsDesirableA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferredAn understanding of UK pensions arrangements and pensions productsWhat we offer
