Overview
The Digital Content Coordinator is responsible for the setup and maintenance of product content on The White Company Website to maximise the global growth of digital business. Working as part of the Digital Content team as a key person delivering product launches and maintaining site standards across all The White Company locales in parallel with all production and trade initiatives.
Responsibilities
Prepare and upload product images. Collate and upload product copy and technical information to the CMS.
Work with the Junior Digital Content Assistant Manager to ensure all product launches and reporting is executed to the agreed deadline and SLA.
Track and publish all site launch KPIs across stakeholders.
Execute all product onsite content, ensuring brand campaigns, trade activity and site enhancements are launched on time and to the agreed standard.
Maintain awareness of editorial content for seasonal features and prioritise to the agreed deadline and SLA.
Deliver content for wholesalers and concession websites, ensuring product information and assets are provided to teams by the agreed deadline and SLA.
Manage core product information and embellishment materials to the agreed SLA as part of the BAU workstream.
Monitor websites and troubleshoot issues to the agreed SLA.
Ensure the product structure follows the agreed taxonomy for customer experience and analytics.
Review continuity lines season-on-season and update as needed.
Customer Experience
Understand the digital customer journey and guide users from initial visit to basket.
Execute plans for product trading from initial site visit to basket, coordinating with Buying and Merchandising to ensure correct product assortment online to schedule.
Take responsibility for selling attributes, conduct competitor analysis, and work with the digital marketing team to identify keyword opportunities.
Ensure all brand assets are utilised for The White Company site experience, including videos and images available in DAM.
Set QA standards for content and product across the Digital Trading team; ensure work is checked before and after going live.
Understand website performance and identify areas for improvement across teams.
Quality assurance on imagery and videos to ensure correct product imagery, cropping, and presentation across touchpoints from visit to basket.
Workflow Management
Adhere to Site Standards documentation and work with the Junior Digital Content Assistant Manager to recommend improvements. Ensure Site Standards are up to date and followed season on season.
Coordinate and manage own workload with the Junior Digital Content Assistant Manager according to the critical path.
Manage loading of new products and imagery alongside system/process updates, campaigns, trading initiatives and housekeeping.
Identify issues with deadlines and escalate to the Junior Digital Content Assistant Manager where necessary.
Proactively review queries and enhancements (web bugs, site walks, exit reports, customer recommendations) to implement fast amendments. Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and improve processes and track root cause.
Stakeholder Management
Regularly communicate the status of content updates to Digital Trading and Senior teams.
Maintain strong relationships with Creative, Buying and Merchandising teams and gather direction on priorities for content.
Champion content processes across teams; identify issues and coordinate cross-functional fixes.
Log systems issues with IT and prioritise fixes based on impact.
Demonstrate a customer service mindset when dealing with stakeholders and be prepared in meetings.
Show initiative and the ability to work independently and with teams to coordinate The White Company content.
Skills and Experience
Experience working with imagery; basic Photoshop understanding is desirable but not required.
Good understanding of Scene7 or other image management software is essential.
Good understanding of Content Square or Adobe Analytics is desirable but not necessary.
Good understanding of websites and how content management systems operate.
Excel, Word, PowerPoint; proficient with Microsoft Excel and data handling.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and people skills; capable of working in a team and independently with a proactive attitude.
Knowledge and passion for online, multi-channel retail and customer experience.
