Overview
The Digital Content Coordinator is responsible for the setup and maintenance of product content on The White Company Website to maximise the global growth of digital business. Working as part of the Digital Content team as a key person delivering product launches and maintaining site standards across all The White Company locales in parallel with all production and trade initiatives.What you’ll be doing
Product Launch: Prepare and upload product images. Collate and upload product copy and technical information to the CMS.Collaborate with the Junior Digital Content Assistant Manager to ensure all product launches and reporting are completed to the agreed deadline and SLA.Track and publish all site launch KPIs across stakeholders.Execute all product onsite activities, ensuring brand campaigns, trade activity and site enhancements are launched on time and to the agreed standard.Be aware of Editorial content for seasonal features and prioritise to the agreed deadline and SLA.Deliver content forWholesalers and Concession websites, ensuring product information and assets are provided to teams by the agreed deadline and SLA.Manage all aspects of the product set business-as-usual work stream, including setting up core information and embellishment materials to the agreed SLA.Monitor websites and troubleshoot issues to the agreed SLA.Ensure the product structure follows the agreed taxonomy for customer experience and analytics.Review continuity lines season-on-season and update when needed.Customer Experience
Understand the digital customer journey and guide customers to the right information from initial visit to basket.Execute plans for product trading from initial site visit to basket, coordinating with Buying and Merchandising to ensure the correct product assortment online to the agreed schedule.Take responsibility for selling attributes by understanding the product range, conduct competitor analysis and collaborate with the digital marketing team to identify keyword opportunities.Ensure all brand assets are utilised and considered for The White Company site experience, including videos and additional images available in DAM.Set the standard for QA of content and product across the wider Digital Trading team; ensure work is checked before and after going live and encourage teams to do the same.Understand website performance and identify areas where content could be improved through better experiences, systems, and ways of working across teams.Quality assurance on images and videos to ensure the correct product imagery is used, cropped and presented optimally across all touchpoints – from initial visit to basket.Workflow Management
Adhere to Site Standards documentation and work with the Junior Digital Content Assistant Manager to recommend improvements and updates. Accountable to ensure Site Standards are up to date and followed season on season.Coordinate and manage own workload with the Junior Digital Content Assistant Manager in adherence to the critical path.Manage the loading of new products and imagery alongside system and process updates, campaigns, trading initiatives and housekeeping exercises.Identify issues with achieving agreed deadlines and escalate to the Junior Digital Content Assistant Manager where necessary.Proactively review queries and enhancements - web bugs, site walks, exit report and customer recommendations - to fast-correct amends. Work with teams to troubleshoot and improve the process and track root cause.Stakeholder Management
Regularly communicate the status of content updates to the appropriate stakeholders in Digital Trading and Senior teams.Maintain good relationships with key teams – Creative, Buying and Merchandising – and use weekly touchpoints to gather direction on priorities for content.Champion content processes across teams; raise issues clearly and convene the right people to fix them.Log systems issues that hinder content with IT teams and prioritise to address the most severe issues.Display a customer service mentality when dealing with stakeholders, pre-empt questions, and be prepared in meetings.Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently and with teams to coordinate The White Company content.The Skills and Experience that you will need
Experience working with imagery and a basic understanding of Photoshop is desirable, but not necessary.Good understanding of Scene7 or other image management software is essential.Good understanding of Content Square or Adobe Analytics is desirable, but not necessary.Good understanding of websites.Good understanding of how content management systems operate.Excel, Word, PowerPoint. A good grasp of Microsoft Excel and confidence in handling data.Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.Excellent communication and people skills.Ability to work well in a team and independently with a pro-active, can-do attitude.Knowledge and passion about online, multi-channel retail and customer experience.What we’ll offer you
