Digital Certificate Consultant (SC Clearance) Location: Onsite Preston (5 days pw)Clearance: Active SC clearanceInside IR35: £500.00 - £550.00We are currently hiring for a reputed client on a contract basis, supporting digital certificate governance across a multi-supplier environment. This is a coordination, assurance and risk-visibility role-ideal if you enjoy bringing clarity, consistency and audit-ready evidence to complex certificate landscapes.What you''ll be doing:. Govern digital certificate management across suppliers, aligning processes to client security policies, cryptographic standards, risk requirements and regulatory/contract obligations. Lead supplier governance and coordination under a SIAM operating model-driving consistent ownership, inventory accuracy and life cycle discipline. Provide oversight of certificate life cycle assurance (issuance, renewal, revocation, replacement) without performing certificate administration or PKI engineering. Maintain visibility of certificate-related risk across the supplier landscape, supporting risk assessment and escalation where remediation can''t be achieved immediately. Produce consolidated, risk-based reporting and dashboards covering inventory health, renewal performance, expiry risk, policy compliance and supplier performance. Define and validate evidence requirements to ensure audit-ready, traceable and consistent assurance across inventory and compliance reporting.
