Digicon Operator - Packaging and Labels Location: Leicester Company: A leading packaging and labels company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled digicon operator to work for a company with many years in house experience, offering high quality packaging and labels solutions, and a company who heavily invests in the latest equipment. Role: As a digicon operator you will be operating of finishing equipment producing finished labels in compliance with company operating procedures. Ensure machinery runs at a maximum output, bearing in mind quality, machinery limitations and health and safety. Set up and operate Digicon machine Operation of print finishing machinery with accuracy and efficiency Monitor quality and consistency of products Ink mixing as and when required Adjust machine settings for correct registration, tension, and cutting accuracy Monitor production to ensure quality and consistency Inspect finished labels for defects such as misalignment, poor cuts, or coating issues Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning Troubleshoot finishing problems during production runs Maintain production documentation and job records Follow health and safety procedures within the production environment Requirements: Experience within the labels/ print/ packaging industry Ideally experienced working on ABG Digicon previously Knowledge of die-cutting, laminating, foiling, varnishing, and slitting processes Ability to read job specifications and production sheets ..... full job details .....
