Die Cutting Operator

VG MSO Ltd have been in operation for 149 years providing complete sustainable packaging solutions from design through to delivery of cartonboard packaging and labels to the food, drink, pharmaceutical and healthcare markets. We currently employ 170+ people at our factory on the Castlereagh Road in Belfast and are part of the Van Genechten Packaging Group which spans 15 sites across the UK and Europe. We have an opportunity in our Die Cutting Department to join a well established team of print professionals in a successful, established and growing organisation as an Die Cutting Operator. In return we offer a competitive salary, 34 days holiday per year including statutory days, company pension scheme etc. Main tasks of Job: Setting the machine to attain effective running and ensuring that the ''first off'' approval is as per customer specification and conducted as outlined in the Quality Procedure Running the machine at optimum speed whilst ensuring that the appropriate standard of quality is maintained Implementation of the Companies Maintenance program and maintaining a clean and tidy work environment and completing associated documentation Compliance with relevant procedures to ensure work is of acceptable quality and systems followed Training Apprentices and machine operatives and other team members as necessary Compliance with all relevant procedures relating to Hygiene, Pharmaceutical, Quality, Chain of Custody, Environmental and any other Standards that ..... full job details .....
