The role of a DFG Surveyor involves conducting technical assessments and providing expert advice within the public sector to support the delivery of construction projects. As part of a small-sized team, the organisation focuses on delivering construction-related initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents.DescriptionDealing with DFG case progression for simple and non-complex adaptations from enquiry through to works completion.Triage of new customers into the service, offering interim advice.Support the service with implementation of a new IT system, case testing and inputting of data.Undertake financial assessments on resources in line with legislation and internal policies to consider financial eligibility for the grant.Providing advice and support to all customer''s accessing the service, irrespective if they are eligible for assistance.To collate all necessary information required to support enquiries/applications for Disabled Facilities Grants, Council Housing Adaptations or other assistance available through the Housing Assistance Policies.
