The role focuses on assessing existing DevOps and software delivery processes, identifying process debt and implementing practical improvements that enable teams to gain greater value from AI-assisted software development and delivery. This is not simply a pipeline-building role. The successful candidate must be able to understand existing engineering processes, work closely with delivery teams, identify friction and implement sustainable process improvements. Key Responsibilities Embed with delivery teams to assess existing DevOps and SDLC practices. Review CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, release processes and environments. Assess testing, code review and deployment processes. Identify process debt that impacts engineering productivity. Identify bottlenecks such as slow CI feedback, manual approvals and inconsistent environments. Work collaboratively with teams to implement practical, incremental improvements.
