DevOps Engineer GCP

DevOps Engineer - CGP A UK-based NfP in London requires a senior, hands-on DevOps Engineer to take operational ownership of its live Google Cloud Platform estate. GCP, Terraform, GitHub Actions. Three-month contract £500 per day, outside IR35. Remote working. Where a team meet up is required, expenses will be paid from travel. Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot and support production and non-production services on GCP. Manage infrastructure through Terraform. Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Support application deployments, APIs and integrations across multiple environments. Respond quickly to infrastructure, deployment and service issues. Review monitoring, logging, alerting, access controls, backups and operational risks. Turn existing documentation into clear, usable runbooks. Pair with and upskill the wider technology team. Leave the estate stable, supportable and ready for a permanent DevOps hire. Essential experience Strong, recent, hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience. Production-level Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise. Strong GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline experience. Experience supporting live web applications, APIs and multiple cloud environments. Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, deployments, networking, access and application dependencies.
