DevOps Engineer

with strong expertise in

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

in

London, UK

to join our engineering team supporting strategic initiatives including those in the financial services domain. Experience with blockchain technologies is a plus but not mandatory.Key Responsibilities

Design implement and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCPBuild and maintain CICD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or Cloud BuildAutomate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform Ansible or similar IaC toolsManage containerized applications using Kubernetes GKE and DockerMonitor system performance and ensure high availability using tools like Prometheus Grafana or StackdriverCollaborate with development operations and security teams to ensure smooth delivery pipelinesParticipate in incident response root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiativesDocument infrastructure and deployment processesYour Profile

3 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering rolesStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Proficiency in Terraform Ansible or similar IaC toolExperience with Kubernetes Docker and container orchestrationFamiliarity with CICD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or Cloud BuildSolid understanding of cloud networking security best practices and DevSecOps principlesScripting skills in Python Bash or similar languagesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsNice to Have

Exposure to blockchain platforms e.g. Hyperledger Besu EthereumExperience with multicloud or hybrid cloud strategiesFamiliarity with DORA metrics AIOps or MLOps practicesCertifications such as Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer CKA or DevOps LeaderAbout Capgemini
