DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer Location: Hereford (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite per week) Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience Clearance: SC Clearable - Sole British Nationals only CPS Group are supporting a global IT consultancy who are looking to grow their DevOps function due to an influx of new projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team, working on complex projects across the UK Defence and Government sectors. The Role: * Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS. * Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, using technologies such as Docker and Helm. * Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. * Implement infrastructure monitoring, security and compliance measures. * Optimise infrastructure for performance, scalability, availability and cost. * Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues. * Support and mentor junior members of the DevOps team where required. Required Experience: * Experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role. * Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS. * Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and infrastructure automation. * Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code, such as Jenkins, GitLab and Terraform. * An understanding of secure infrastructure, monitoring and high-availability environments. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. * Defence or Government project experience is highly ..... full job details .....
