A DevOps position for a software product business offering SaaS services to customers across the UK. This is great opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer who is keen to remain hands-on but take on a more senior role in the future.

The DevOps Engineer joins an experienced SaaS product team as the sole DevOps Engineer focusing on improving DevOps adoption and deployments on their AWS based platform. This is a pivotal role working closely with software engineers, senior managers and a 3rd party, owning the DevOps processes internally.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilising the AWS platform and improving quality, service and security
  • Work closely with the Tech and Product Leads to plan and implement effective DevOps processes
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage the 3rd party supplier to improve services and eventually phase to more internal resources


Essential experience:

  • 3 years+ Commercial DevOps experience in an Azure environment working closely with software teams
  • Experience leading DevOps adoption and setting best practice
  • Strong AWS functionality knowledge
  • Software of infrastructure backgrounds will be considered
  • Commercial experience with Azure is desirable


Their offices in Staffordshire are commutable from Stoke on Trent, Stafford, Burton on Trent and Telford areas with flexible hybrid working.
