Device Configuration Manager Location: Swindon Contract Type: Full-Time, temp-to-perm contract. Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday Friday Salary: £13.84 - £15.38 Per Hour DOE About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Device Configuration Manager to oversee end-to-end device configuration, deployment, asset tracking, and operational delivery. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in IT hardware deployment, inventory management, quality assurance, and team leadership. You will ensure that all devices are configured to meet client specifications, comply with security and operational standards, and are delivered accurately and on time. You will also coordinate operational teams during peak periods and support procurement activities to meet changing project demands. Key Responsibilities Device Configuration and Deployment: Oversee the setup, customisation, testing, and quality checking of hardware to meet specific client requirements. Maintain standardised configuration and deployment procedures to ensure consistent, reliable results. Ensure devices are fully prepared and ready for dispatch within agreed deadlines. Asset Management and Client Communication: Maintain accurate inventory records, asset tracking systems, and audit logs throughout the deployment lifecycle.
