Development Team Lead - 6 months - Glasgow - Outside IR35Day rate - Circa £560Harvey Nash''s public sector client are currently looking to recruit a Development Team Lead to join their team based Glasgow/Remote for an initial 6-month period. You will provide technical leadership, mentorship and delivery capability to an established team with pressing need to rapidly build upon a customer account in order to meet legislative needs and deliver organisational cost reduction and modernisation objectives.Essential Skills:Experience of working with, building and modernisation of Java and Spring Boot based microservicesExperience of working with public cloud technologies (for this role, we require AWS specifically)Experience of TDD and Unit-Test toolingExperience of acting in a position of seniority within engineering teams within Government projects to deliver/enhance public facing servicesFamiliar with JavaScript and best-practice approachesDemonstrable experience in mentoring and conducting knowledge transfer to junior permanent in-house staffDesirable Skills andamp; ExperienceExperience of working with Terraform scriptsExperience of working with TypeScriptExperience of working with AuroraDB or MySQLExperience with Linux based Shell ScriptingExperience with Government security control requirementsThis role has been deemed Outside IR35 by the client.
