Development Surveyor - Strategic Land and Development Location: Midlands Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Type: Permanent, Full-Time Reporting to: Partner The Opportunity An established and highly regarded property consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Development Surveyor to join its growing Development team. This is a varied and commercially focused role covering strategic land, development agreements, land sales, valuation and planning. You will work with a diverse client base including private landowners, purchasers, national developers, promoters and investors. You will manage existing client relationships while identifying new development opportunities and helping to grow the firm''s strategic land portfolio. The position offers significant autonomy and would suit an MRICS-qualified Surveyor or qualified Town Planner who has strong experience within strategic land and development transactions and is looking for a role where they can have a genuine influence on the growth of a development team. Key Responsibilities Strategic Land and Development Agreements Identify and secure land with strategic residential and commercial development potential. Negotiate Heads of Terms for Option, Promotion and Hybrid Agreements, predominantly representing landowners. Manage agreements through the legal process, coordinating with clients, developers/promoters, solicitors and accountants. Oversee agreements through to exchange and completion.
