Development Officer (Housing Association)

Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, Radius Housing, to recruit a Development Officer on a temporary contract basis for a period of 6-8 months to assist with their long-term growth plans.With almost 14,000 properties across the province, Radius are one of the major developers of homes in Northern Ireland and builds and releases around 400 homes every year, both properties for rent, and for private sale.Your new role You will support the development management team in the delivery of high quality homes across a range of tenures. This role involves all aspects of development from inception to handover and final closure, encompassing:Site identification, acquisition, feasibility, design, planning, construction, project management, and health and safety regulations.A full job spec is available upon request.What you''ll need to succeed To be considered for this position, you must possess:A level six qualification (e.g. bachelor''s degree, Graduate diploma) in a related discipline (e.g. Building / Property / Design) with at least 1 year''s experience in a relevant role within a social housing / private housing environment or construction arena, i.e. contributing to the delivery of housing / construction projects.Alternatively, you should possess 3+ years'' experience of working in a Housing Association or Private/Public Sector property development team, with demonstrable team working experience, contributing directly to the delivery of new ..... full job details .....
