Development Manager Housing Association Location: Scottish Borders Contract: 3 6 Months Rate: £35 per hour The Opportunity Peace Recruitment is currently working with an established housing association in the Scottish Borders to recruit an experienced Development Manager for an initial 3 6 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering affordable housing developments and major refurbishment projects, working closely with internal teams, local authorities, the Scottish Government and external contractors. The successful candidate will support the management of the housing development programme, ensuring projects progress effectively, funding requirements are met and developments are delivered in line with agreed budgets and timescales. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate affordable housing development and major refurbishment projects. Oversee project feasibility studies, financial appraisals, planning and procurement processes. Manage Scottish Government grant funding applications, claims and reporting requirements. Maintain accurate project budgets, financial forecasts and development programme reports. Liaise with local authorities, Scottish Government representatives, consultants and contractors. Support the preparation of development proposals, investment appraisals and funding submissions.
