Development Engineer - Air and Fuel Systems

We are looking for Development Engineer to work on vehicle Air and Fuel Systems, based in our clients world class development facility in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. We are working with a global leader in manufacturing construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives. Their engines division is a major subsidiary, and renowned for industrial diesel engines. The successful applicant will develop air and fuel system components, collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and production facilities to ensure highest quality and reliability. Responsibilities: Manage air/fuel system development projects. 3 high pressure fuel systems, EGR system and Turbocharger systems. Communicate project status. Lead design reviews. Collaborate with suppliers. Assess technical risk and coordinate validation activities. Resolve technical issues. Understand customer needs and design requirements. Write technical reports. Implement engineering solutions globally. Identify improvement opportunities. Skills and Experience: Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering or related field. 6-8 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of mechanical engineering, engine components, manufacturing principles. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Experience with fuel systems, air systems, EGR systems, turbochargers, and data analysis. Familiarity with DIAdem, vCDM, and Siemens TeamCenter PLM.
