Development Engineer (12 month FTC)

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Development Engineer to join their site near Stirling. This will be on an initial 12 month contract, with the potential of moving to a permanent opportunity. You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that have a culture on site that is results driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement. The company is well established, financially stable and has earned a reputation as an excellent employer.The successful engineer will support new product development through prototype design, modification and testing. For existing products, role focuses on sustaining engineering such as DFM and reliability improvements, component alternates and product variations.What you will need:Experience working within a fast paced environment Degree / HND or equivalent in electrical or electronics discipline Excellent problen solving skills Responsibilities: Take ownership of the development of products and ensure they meet project timescales, functionality, and serviceability requirementsTest and collect data for analysis and interpretation then produce technical reports with recommendationsDevelop and produce manufacturing test procedures, user, and installation documentationUtilise electrical drawing package (Solidworks 2D electrical) to produce wiring schematics and production drawingsMaintain an excellent knowledge of required legislation and provide impact statements to the business on future legislation changesEstablish and ..... full job details .....
