This role is crucial for designing, developing, and characterising new product formulations and overseeing their initial production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards in quality control and supporting continuous improvement projects within the organisation.Day-to-day of the role:Design and develop new product formulations and variants.Oversee the initial production of new products, determining quality control testing and specifications.Support development and continuous improvement projects within the technical department.Maintain rigorous documentation of experimental data, procedures, and conclusions.Interpret test results and recommend next steps for project advancement.Collaborate with team members to improve test methodologies, procedures, and manufacturing practices.Troubleshoot product and process inefficiencies and provide technical support for projects transitioning to market.Conduct research to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of the technical department.Required Skills and Qualifications:Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or a related industryProven experience as a Development Chemist ideally ..... full job details .....
